Frind spent their formative ages on a grain farm in the north hinterlands of British Columbia — “the bush,” in regional parlance.
Their home town, Hudson’s wish, is a cooler, remote place not not even close to the place to start with the Alaska Highway. Frind’s parents, German farmers which emigrated before their last birthday, purchased a 1,200-acre plot 10 miles from town and initially lived-in a trailer without electrical power, cell phones, or working liquid.
