Authorities raids had been general public and high-profile shows from inside the Nazi strategy against homosexuality
When you look at the middle- to later part of the 1930s, law enforcement raided taverns and various other conference places that they considered favored by homosexual boys. Law enforcement developed cordons around pubs or other locations, and asked anybody who appeared suspicious. Some men trapped in raids could be released if there is no evidence against them. Those whom the authorities considered accountable will be experimented with for violations of Paragraph 175 or, in some instances, delivered straight to a concentration camp.
Through raids, the authorities threatened and discouraged homosexual communities and people. However, raids were not specially successful. They certainly were perhaps not the primary ways by which the police monitored down boys for so-called violations of Paragraph 175. (mais…)
